That's never good to hear but i know that here in kentucky we are getting hit pretty hard by the EHD disease. They say you'll find these infected deer near water. Hopefully this is not the case for you and it was just a freak accident or a deer that was unrecovered by a hunter(which i don't hope for either). In any case, I'm sorry to hear that.
