From Potsdam??? That's over 300 miles, as I recall. Long way to travel, just to hunt some ducks! You may find a squirrel or two, sometimes a pheasant pops up, but the area is really known for the waterfowl. Just twenty minutes down the road from here, it has become one of my favorite canoe spots. Imagine, a swamp that goes on for more than 3,000 acres. Plan on chasing rabbits, deer, turkey, etc? Change your plans. They're here, but not enough to make it worth your while, even for us local folks. Still interested?
