It has been REALLY windy over here on the west side with lots of off and on rain. I got soaked yesterday riding my bike looking over a new area for turkeys. I've got to retreat my ECWCS suit. The water just soaked into the fabric. When you're riding a bike, that means you get pretty sweatty. What do you guys use to recondition your Gore-Tex suits? Is it something the wife can pick up on post? I e-mailed Adventuretech out of Spokane that has the contract to make the ECWCS suits for Uncle Sam. I'm waiting to see what they say to use. I'm thinking of using Nikwax TX-Direct Wash-in treatment that recoats breathable rainsuits. It is recommended for Gore-Tex. Have a good one. Good luck to everybody on the gobbler opener tomorrow.
