No doubt he's only a 1.5 year old. He's about identical to my first with a bow when I was around 23. He certainly will be a good buck in 2-3 years however I would not fault you for taking him as your first with a bow nor would I fault you if he was your 10th with a bow. The decision to shoot him or not is yours but don't do it if you have doubt, only take him if you'd be proud.
