Default cost per shot

I was talk to bother in law sitting up a time to go to the range, his son said some about taking thier brit .303 which cost them $1 per shot. I started thinking he likes to shoot powerbelts with 2 to 3 pellets out of his ml, asked myself how much money he is firing out of his ml. I started to work it out.

(cost/bullets)+(cost/number of shots of powder)+(cost/primers)=cost per shot

powerbelts is .65 +.5+.06 = $1.21/shot (does that sound right)

my cost with loose (pyrodex p)with xtp with mag express sabots

.43 +.18 + .06 = .67/shot

my powerbelt cost

.65 + .18 + .06 = .89/shot

I don't know if anyone has done this.

my bother in law should not bitch about shooting his brit .303 when he is firing more money out his ML.
