I have no problem with the raise. Right now if you buy a hunting license, spring & fall turkey and deer you spend $75. For that amount you can hunt all the regular seasons plus varmints during the rest of the year. Squirrel season opens in September, and rabbit and grouse close on Feb. 28. That gives you 6 months of hunting for 75 bucks. How many movies can you attend, golf games, sporting events for that amount?
Of course, I buy the wetland stamp, federal migratory stamp and fur takers permit, but still a great value. I also buy my $101 non-resident license for PA. Add in another 50 bucks for PA & Ohio fishing and I can have a ball all year around!
