I have A New 2002 Merlin Lite Storm Solo Cam and a 2001 Pro 38 that I got used. The Merlin is sitting in the case and is up for sale, WHY. Simple the Bowtech is ssoooooooooo much smoother. The handshock issue is one that I am concrned about also. There is virtually none that I can feel. The Bowtech also has the infinity Cam which is a great feature in itself. Don' t get me wrong, I' m not against Mathews in any way (matter of fact I have a new Icon on order as we speak). I just don' t like it when anyone especially a dealer who bad mouths a product that he has probalbly never shot. Theres not a damn thing wrong with Bowtech. It is a fine bow and thats all there is to it.
