Weirdest thing I' ve caught would be a longnose gar. I didn' t know those things existed before I caught it. I' ve also caught turtles up. However my brother once got locked onto the telephone pole lines above him. So locked on they cut the line. That' d be a trippy way to go with catchin a dead body. eh. Might make me not want to go fishin for a while.
