Default Terminally ill young man needs help to hunt in Illinois!

Hey guys, while pouring concrete today at work, I met this concrete truck driver who has a terminally ill son who loves to hunt. His son has Lou Gerhigs (sorry if I butcherd up the name) disease. He was diagnosed with it at age 16 and now is 21 years of age and has limited mobility and is wheelchair bound. After hearing his story I was completely touched at what a die hard hunter his kid was, and still is!

I am a diehard deer hunter here in the state of Illinois, and have access to 300+ acres of QDM property, which we intensively manage and pass on a tremendous amount of bucks, and emphasize doe harvest, so we have good buck to doe ratios.. I would like for this young man to have a chance to hunt some of these bucks, before his life is cut way too short..
I've seen these kids and parents on TV, and felt sorry for them, but never gave them much thought after seeing the program. It was until today, thatI had the opportunity to meet one of these parents and hear of the struggle that they go through to make the last years of their childs life the mostmemorable......

SoI contacted the Illinois DNR, to see if we could get this kid a either sex firearm permit, for Clark county Illinois.... We had some sucess, kinda/ sorta in that they are going to try to get him a tag, but since he is a resident of Indiana and Clark county is out of either-sex tags, its going to be a rough~! It's going to have to be brought to the attention of the director of the DNR in order to get him a permit.................. I was hoping one of you guys, with some connections might be able to make this happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This young man is living on borrowed time and I would like to help him! He realistically has 1 maybe 2 years to live.... I am not banking on the latter, so i would like to push this year!

Anyone with any info would be helpful!!!!!! If we do get him a tag, does anyone know how to get him an electric stand if 1 is available..... I would like to make this hunt as pleasant, as possible and up the odds any way I can for him!

Thank you very much, for reading this, I'm hoping someone can help!!! Thanks again, Guys/Gals.

Sincerely, Mark Kezler
