I always turn mine on and let it sit for about 20 seconds, then hit the button. Usually works on 2 or 3 clicks.
Same here for mine...it seems to work faster if the butane canister is kept warm in a pants pocket too
I use mine mainly for scent dispersion in the woods...for the mosquitoes though at home while working in the garage!
