It's kind of interesting how the tick seasons are so different all over the nation.

After about the first half of July ticks are fairly uncommon to find. Seems like when it gets to being around 100 for a couple weeks they die off, and don't really come back till mid may. We mostly have wood and deer ticks here in the panhandle of Nebr.
Now during May, June, and the first part of July they are as thick as green shag carpeting in a 1970s trailer house.
