RE: mossberg 835
I' ve a had a few Mossbergs, and two of them 835' s with one being camo. The camo seemed pretty durable and still looked new after two seasons of goose hunting. The only problem I ever had and a couple of buddies had the same problem, was sometimes the gun would not chamber a shell after ejecting a spent hull. These guns were broken down and cleaned after each use, so I can' t blame it on being dirty. If you have your heart set on one, by all means buy it. I still believe Mossbergs are a good gun for the money and if there is a problem with it, they carry a decent warranty or opt to have a local gunsmith check it out. Also Remington 870' s and Benelli Nova pumps can be had in camo and 3 1/2" chamber for under $400.00. If you want to hunt turkey exclusively, I would go with a short barrel with extended choke tube.
