4388...are you referring to me? Anyways, yes, my kwikee quiver doesn't have the screw like the newer models. I thought about trying to modify something like that myself, but figured it wasn't worth it. I too take mine off when I am in the stand, which is why I am still using the one that I have. However, I have been getting into hunting more on the ground (i.e., stalking, ground blinds) and want to shoot my bow with the quiver on.
