As far as I know, you can't have a hand gun at all during bow season, unless your law enforcement. A Police Officer is allowed to have a firearm at all time and in anystate. So there are exempt ! as for a hand gun permit , your not allowed. Hope that helps.
That is true in a way. Legally they can't but who will issue them a ticket for it. Brotherhood of the badge. Just like cops don't get speeding tickets.
