That's great news...Now get him up in a tree to practice shooting from a stand...Many times a bowhunter loses his rear sight or anchor, causing the arrow to fly high...Sounds like this is the problem...Many hunters can shoot fine from the ground, put them in a tree 20 feet up and their form changes....
You have to bend at the waist and keep your head down, I like to feel the string with my nose, if I don't I will shoot 10 inches high....
I bet more deer are missed or wounded because of this, or not practicing with broadheads and finding that they don't shoot exactly liike field points than any other reason...
