Default T/C Encore 20ga. or 12ga. slug barrel

Hello, i am about to order a rifled slug barrel for my Encore and i am having a hard time deciding between the fluted 28" 12ga. or the 28" 20ga. I know a 28" barrel is a little longer than the standard T/C24" barrel but i dont rifle sights on the barrel (24" comes standard w/sights)as it will be scoped. any one have any insight as to the 28" length if it improves accuracy, or just robs MV? Now back to the age old12ga. vs. 20ga. question from a ballistics stand point MOST 12ga. ammunition is slightly superior to 20 ga. also i am keeping in mind that 12ga. is much more readily available and usually has more of a selection. BUT. has any one looked at hastings ammunition sight? thay are releasing a new 3.5" slug that is superior to amy 12 ga. on the market! its a 350 grain sabot slug pushed at a MV of 2000fps, 3643ft-lbs. only a4" drop @ 150yards still chuggin along @ 1300fps and a retaind energy of about 1570ft.-lbs @ 150 yards...impressive to say the least. eventually hastings will provide a rechambering service for20ga. Encore barrels, but for now they only will rechamber H&R's Any one have any first hand experiance here?
