I love the park and the area! I have been going there for the past 30+ years. My 3 kids have grown up camping there. For the past 15 years we have camped on Gypsy trail with 2 other familiesevery Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. Except, this year we did not go on Lbor Day so everybody agreed to go Columbus Day weekend instead. Well, the woman who booked couldn't get the weekend and bookedOct 13 (not knowingit was opening bow). I didn't want to go because I didn't spend any time scouting andwould have to walk into the woods on opening morning, find somewhere to hunt and hope deer will come. Instead....now, I am going to camp, head to one of my favorite standsbefore daylightwith lanes all cut and I know the distances because I have practiced. My wife really didn't want to go anyways becauseit's a lot of work when you don't have a 3 day weekend.
