It's going to hot and dry up my way when I get out on Sun, so I'm just hoping to find some shade to sit in. Very thankful the leaves are still on or the 86 drgrees they are calling for would be pretty rough.
The property I hunt is about as good as it gets. I am sitting in an oak flat. The acorns are so thick it sounds as if I am walking on cereal to get to my stand. This is the 3rd year I have been able to harvest 2 does on opening day. I average 6-9 a year with an excellent buck or two thrown in there somewhere.
