Thankfully I hunt near a lake and a camp ground, so deer are used to seeing people walking, riding bikes, ect. Scent control is not a big deal in my area, it's more myself being comfortable..and well concealed.

I like to hunt fields in the cool morning and evenings, near water if possible. Pack lite, bring water/Gatorade, and bug spray if you can get away with it. If it's 85º or higher though, I'm usually golfing.
