I think for most people the problem is the "zoo" animal mentality. I know it is for me. Shooting lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, etc. seems "sacriligious" because we've only associated these animals with zoos, documentories, plush toys, and cartoons. We have too much emotional investment in these animals. I don't have a problem with other people doing it. I know a few that have. It just doesn't appeal to me. BUT the way
BroadsideAdventuresdescribes it, it does sound challenging and exciting. I'd love to own some tusks too. It's a challenge few bowman have accomplished and it sounds like he took it seriously and worked hard to achieve it. Congratulations on the effort and success.
