Its not about the wt as much as it is about the kinetic energy. I was shooting around 106 to 110 pounds of KINETIC energy. Most information I found before the hunt was you needed at least 90# ofKINETIC energy, but then I found where someone else said 100# of KINETIC energy. So honestly I don't know the exact number, I would suggest at least 100#'s of KINETIC energy, if you can get it with a lighter bow wt go for it.
