I would try getting a new card first since that is the cheapest way of doing and it and you don't have to send the camera in. Cards do go bad and if I were you I would take it back to the place I bought it and get a new one. What kind of card is it ? Brand name that is? I have 6 512 mb cards and haven't filled them up yet.
