I don't have the urge to shoot everything I could anymore either. Elk season this year is a good example. I did get my elk about 15 days into season, but I could have been done opening day or about 10 different days after that. I was kind of horn hunting, but if I had held to my standard I would still be in the woods. I'm happy with what I got, and more importantly we are eating good. Last night we had maple pepper bacon wrapped back strap medallions...mmmm!

Photography sounds like a good suggestion. Perhaps you would be interested in hunting a different species other than deer? Try antelope hunting for example. The meat is excellent, and you will probably see different terrain and use new hunting styles. It may be the ticket to fire you up again. I mean, it does seem like you want that or you wouldn't have posted.
