I suggest enrolling in a hunter safety course. This will teach you the basics of safety, ethics and what to do with an animal if you are successful. You will also be able to make some friends whose fathers, brothers, uncles, grandpas, moms, etc... will more than likely be glad to take you hunting with them. As a youngster, in most states it is manditory to be accompanied by an adult while hunting with firearms.

Most importantly, make sure that whomever you trust your first hunting experiences with is ethical and safe. The hunter safety course will give you a gauge to measure this by.
