Wow, thanks for the replies...I was not sure of the responce I would get when I first posted this but it would be my pleasure to share the woods with any of you guys.

The camera idea is a good one but I'm also a gun nut and really like to carry one around in the woods, maybe for bow season, my wife has a fancy digital SLR.

Those that said take a kid hunting have struck the biggest cord with me. I have two growndaughters and no other real family, most of my friends are my age so their kids are also grown. It's a little late this year to find someone to mentor but I'm going to keep my nose to the wind for next year. Maybe take the camera along to get some pics of that. I did get a neighbor started in muzzel loading some years ago and it was very rewarding.

I started this post last night but was interupted by a phone call from my good buddy John. I have finally got him to take up BPCR shooting, he showed up at my house a couple months ago with an Uberti 1876 Winchesterin 45-60. I spent alot of time tweeking the gun for him and also showing him how to make and load the shells. He called to say thanks and that he had shot a real nice Hog with it. Just listening to his description of the hunt gave me that warm fuzzy feeling if you know what I mean.

Any ideas where I can find a willing kid?...LOL
