Your probably going crazy with all the different calibers suggested. Pick something you can shoot comfortably. If your friends and family have firearms test them out first to see how they feel to you. Make sure you buy something that fits you and that the recoil wont bother you too much.There are plenty of calibers out there so you shouldnt have a problem finding one. All the suggestions on here will knock a deer over.
