Fine sheep round. I' d say the weight of the rifle would be the important factor. It ain' t a M14 or anythin' like thet is it? Yer gonna be packin' thet thing where there ain' t no air an' plenty of rocks. Mountain rifles with compact scopes are made fer sheep huntin' . Yer biggest worry is probly thet gut hangin' over yer belt. Better to invest in a treadmill over a new rifle. I got some pictures the other day of some rams right on the road.
