Got to my stand a little late on Saturday evening. I was in my stand by 4:30 pm. I was hunting a small valley that is a funnel in-between two bedding areas and an apple orchard. I was in my stand for about 15 minutes and this doe came out of a thicket on a heavily used run that goes past my stand. I took her at 4:51PM at 32 yards. I hit her a little back she was slightly quartering towards. she went 40 yards and expired. she was rather large i am guessing 2.5 or maybe 3.5 year old. Great start to the 2007 archery season
