Could have just been rubbing to kill some time, who knows. i've seen rubs from the beginning of September right on through the end of December.

I did take a nice doe on Sat. AM. Finally got set up with a buddy to video and we had a doe come in being followed by a little fork horn. The buck was a good size deer but a real goofy shaped rack only about 6-7 inches long. Maybe 5 minutes later a nice doe with a fawn came in. She teased me about 15 yards away for a few minutes and since I did have the camera rolling I put one through her. She ran about 75 yards and expired in under 30 seconds, stumbling a few times along the way. Ishot a bit too far forward and took the slick trick through the shoulder blade, but she did not go far. i waited for 45 minutes or so, but nothing else came by. Got her cut up that morning and my landowner says, "Ok, one down three to go right?" So i guess he's ok with taking some deer off his property.
Anyone else having any luck?
