sorry to hear about the theft, it sucks. My neighbor had a ladder stand stolen a few weeks ago. My nearly new popup camper was sitting 100 yards away unlocked. i got lucky!! (it's locked 3 ways now).

You probably already know this but it's very rewarding hunting over a food plot. I wouldn't guess that hunting over a feeder (not that you do it) would give the same feeling. making the food plot is a lot of fun too.

Tractor suppply has a nice atv disc made by king kutter for 429. It's not the flipover kind. worked great on my plot, you'll have to add weight to it though.
