Default RE: New Remington 710 rifle

I bought a remington 710 today a youth model in 243win it is short and inexpensive I paid 250.00 at walmart I like the shortness and the capability to draw up in the brush or the truck (on private property) and not worry about what happens to it compared to the ruger compact 243win with wood stock wich costs 450.00 with no scope. I've shot alot of blacktails (on my wall to prove it) here in oregon some hold records and some don't all with big guns 30-06, 7mm 300 winmag etc. it tears the meat up to bad when you can't make a head shot and on a trophy you wouldn't want to do that.I passed up a 3 point and a forked horn today. Ohh!! on the west coast we only count one side!!!its only the second day of the season I'm holding out for my dream buck!!!
