This reminds me of a guy I work with. He's the type of person who has to buy things that are "over advertised". Example: He had to go out and buy a Mathews Switchback last season because of the advertising of it. He never shot another bow to compare it to. Mathews is a great bow, but you get the idea. There are other non hunting related things he does like this too, but...This year Rage broadheads is the Example: He called me at home one night last week( 3 days before opening of Pa archery)frantic about not being able to find any at the local stores. He went to his Mathews dealer,Dick's,Gander Mountain and they were all sold out. He called me to get the phone number for my dealer that I go to. By the time I got his message and returned his call he had already been to a few more stores and was actually paying for the Rage Broadheads as I called at a local sport store. I asked him why all the fuss about these Rage heads when he had beeen usuing NAP Spitfire Pro's? His response was tha the Rage broadheads were in every magazine he looked at so they had to be better than the Spitfires. I told him about the concerns I had and some of what I ead about the Rage product. Didn't matter the add said "they fly ikea fieldpoint. I asked him if the NAP's flew like a field point. He said he didn't know. He had never shot a broadhead or mechanicalthrough his bow. One more rant about this guy. We both attended a Bowhunting Course not 1 month ago so we could gain access to a small farm in NY. I guess he learned nothing from that 9 hr course either. Thanks for listening.
