No company sells their product for less just to be nice. If they could bring the same price in the market, they would.

I come from a motorcycle industry backround. If Honda could sell their cruisers for the same price as Harley-Davidson does, they would.
They can't, so they are less. Both are good bikes but one sells for a much higher price.

Pretty much the same with any product.

Sony vs Panasonic
Hewlett Packard vs Dell
Pepsi vs Store brand soda

So on and so on.
