Deer are not smart creatures by any means, but they do have very good memories for "danger."
I also agree with this statement. To what degree do they "avoid" an "area"? This will always be debated. I move around all the time. "I" don't think my sporadic presence in my woods......varying sporadically.....will push the resident deer from the area. It may make them alter their routes.....but hell....I'm altering MY routes and stand locations all the time, too.
I'm hunting my 15th hunt either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.....and I've sat in one tree twice, this year. All othe rhunts were "new" locations. For the record....I took shots at deer both sits in that tree.
