Though I would get some feedback on a turkey mount I did with my 2007 bird. Saved wings, tail, beard, leg/spurs and a bag of feathers and mounted it on a shaped piece of fur board. Painted the neck head by hand. It is on wall above gun case. I am not nor ever was a taxidermist. Just thought the idea was cool so I tried it.
