yep, but lets look at it from a common sense point, take 2 cartridges and load them to 64k, with the same bullet, won't the one with the most capacity have a higher MV? let alone the fact that the weatherby has freebore, which helps it operate at even higher pressures without showing pressure signs.

I agree with everything you've posted. The only hiccup in your theory is the printed data. Granted it may not have as much influence on you, but for the average joe it does.If you look at the published data/ factory loadings. The WSM does achieve the Weatherby numbers. Granted at a higher pressure.
if a remchester model 770 can stand 65k chambered in a short mag, it can stand 65k chambered in a standard, as a matter of fact if both cartridges are loaded to 65k
