You should have a way to release the pin so it will swing free as you tilt your bow. Once you sight it in on the ground as the instructions say, you should just have to let the pin swing free and point the bow at your target. I try to line my peep up with the circle of the sight and put the pin where I want it to hit. You shouldn't have to center the pin in the peep, your eye will nearly always automatically do that.
