I want to shoot a monster buck as well as anyone, but I wouldn' t sacrifice my couple or three deer a year for one big one. The two large bucks (at least here they are) I' ve killed with the bow were rather uneventful compared to some of the does I' ve managed to take. I' ve got some mature does that I' ve been after for several years now and the darn things are almost impossible to kill with a bow. I consider them trophies as well as a large buck, they just don' t have the big horns to put on the wall. They are a darn sight harder to kill though.
