I know I'm about a year behind and I'm new here, but I have the Mossberg Silver Reserve in 12 Ga. I've had no problems at all. The only thing I've done is buy some after-market chokes specifically for hunting purposes as I had my doubts that the stock chokes supplied could handle steel or tungsten for game loads. For Skeet and Trap, I love it. It's certainly not a dedicated high end skeet/trap gun but it has served me well for about 100 rounds per week for over a year now with no signs of needing repair. For hunting, Look for after market chokes (Briley, etc).
