a friend of mine has a chevy 2500 gas 4x4, probably 4-5 years old and he has already had to replace the transmission twice, and his dad has a newer one (he gets a new one every couple years) and he always has problems with the ball joints wearing out from riding off road, not mud bogging but from driving around the property on dirt/sand roads.
