Don't be upset. I did the exact same thing last year. I thought is was a doe and when I found him is was a button buck. I was as proud as anyone could be. I did something that I have never done before my first year out. I had my stand stolen that next week and haven't hunted sence. I have a new location and a new stand and can't wait till Oct. 1st. The thrill of the hunt and the opertunity to be out in the woods can be enough but, to take a deer during bow season, that is hunting.

Enjoy the time in the woods. It has turned out to be a great place for me to evaluate life, family, priorities, and recharge my batteries.
