I'm right in the middle of the CWD eradication zone. The UW Madison has been tagging deer since after the disease wasdiscovered They are studying deer movementand social groups amongst the herd.
He is a legal deer to shoot. I will let him walk though. In the early part of summer they found a collared doe dead. She weighed (if I remember the story) 131 lbs. when they caught and released her healthy. She ended up 80 lbs when she died. She got theCWD and they found her 80 yards from where they released her 2 years prior.
