I don' t think it will have an effect on the powder but it may have an effect on accuracy. When trying a new load I like to start from scratch (i.e. a clean barrel) then fire a few fouling shots. That way i know I don' t have a lot of buildup affecting the results. Just my thoughts. Good luck.
