hunting where the does are is great...thats what hunting the edges of the bedding areas is...but in your situation, id really try to key in on funnels if at all possible. you got more deer than most anyone...in a case like that, i think being in a funnel would be the ticket to seeing the most deer...
Which is exactly what I do, mauser. I set up between doe bedding areas and ride it out. During the rut.....the area between doe bedding areasIS a funnel for bucks. Nobody knows my situation. I am always hunting fringes, technically. I don't have access to the bedding areas.....only close to them. They have a choice. They can bed in the parks system....where no one can legally hunt them.....OR....they can come over to the land I'm hunting....and bed there. What would you do?
I catch the does coming out to eat.....and catch the bucks following them. I don't have any other choices.
