300fps wont help you from 278 except maybe shoot another 3 yrds with one pin. if you draw 32" it should be less with a loop because a loop added to your string puts the release farther away.also is your bowspoundage maxed out, bows perform there best at there higher settings. 278 is plenty fast i think if your shooting good just dont worry about it.
