it illegal to use feild tips in PA. i have shot several squirrels with field tip and it kills them. I have shot a lot with muzzys too. Their tough. I always have an arrow for shooting at squirrels. Its good practice when your in the stand. You can guess the yardage and see how close you are. The arrows usually stick up so you do not lose them.. good luck with that on the ground.
