In Ohio... CCW requires completion of a class, $45 app fee through local Sherrif. Good for 5 years. Class is waivable with DD214 from military service listing qualification with weapon.

As for hunting regs relating to CCW, you are allowed to carry during any hunting season as long as said weapon is not used to shoot, shoot at or kill any wild animal.
