Interesting you should post this. Today I was drawing my bow back and heard/felt the velcro start to go. Before I've had the velcro give a little but never let go all the way. This time, despite my best effort to grab the release, it shot off my wrist.
Usually, I secure the release and then pull on it to set the velcro, 'specially before hunting. That eliminates the ripping noise.
I'm going to look into buckle releases again. When ended up getting velcro because the buckle ones were all too big for my wrist. [&o]
I'm still relatively new to using a release. It bugs me to not have my fingers on the string. Now I'm going to be really paranoid. [:'(]
BTW, I don't know what you guys are ordering from Taco Hell, but I can't imagine anybody's butt cheeks making a velcro noise.
