if you have found a good oak tree that the deer are hitting and it is in the middle of pine forest then you need to set up on that oak bottom and you will get a chance for a shot,because they don't have much to eat in that pine and acorns would be like us getting a nice juicy steak over a piece of bologna.you do need to find a way in there that does'nt alert every deer in the woods to your presence.Like somelse said ut a way in if you have to even if it is just a 100 yards it will allow you to get to your stand unheard.good luck!
