Actually a Monarch is an 8x8, an Imperial is a 7x7, and a Royal is a 6x6. as for anything smaller im not sure if they have a name.
According to who? I'm not disputing it I just was wondering how these names came about. I searched the Boone & crocket website as well as the RMEF's. I can't find anything that references this nomenclature.
I'm wondering if it isn't a marketing ploy. I think i've seen these names used on advertisements for High fence operations.
Not sure how the names came about its just what ive picked up over the years as for being used as a marketing ploy im not sure cause i dont see any advertisements for high fence hunts cause in Alberta they are outlawed, but im sure the names are used in advertisements just to catch the eye of a potential wannabe hunter.
